July Favourites!

July Faves...
These are the products that I've been using over and over and over that I love and recommend to anyone that will listen haha...

Moroccan Oil:
Read a few posts down, this is my new HG for hair. LOVE LOVE LOVE this stuff. I'm so crazy about this stuff that I make my friends and partner smell and touch my hair. Nuff said!

Shimmerbricks:
This month it's been all about the Nude and Nectar.
Nude is my go to when I want to be a minimalist but feel beautiful. I just use this, do my brows, mascara and a light cover of gloss and I feel instantly beautiful without covering my face in a zillion products! It doesn't look dirty either. Better than a bronzer.
Nectar is the peachy pink colour I've been dying to find. Makes a subtle peachy glow without being too dramatic. Not too shimmery either!

RRP: $95
Buy from: David Jones and Myer (not all stock BB, you'll need to check!)

MAC Mineralize Skinfinish compact in NW20:
Ever since I bought this in January, I haven't wanted to use another foundation. My new HG this is! It gives a medium coverage and a dewy look (what I love about the mineralize range) much better than the liquid version (which is slightly too shiny for my liking). Comes in every shade and it's mother, this is one I would recommend to anyone, no matter what colour you are, what your skin is like, what coverage you're after... THIS IS IT! Now go out and buy yourself some!

RRP: $59
Buy From: MAC PRO stores and counters in Myer & David Jones

MAC Paintpot in Coral Crepe:
I love coral, it's growing on me like something nasty. It's a beautiful sheer coral that won't scare you, especially if you're scared of COLOUR (boo!). You can use it under pinks, corals, oranges, reds and it looks beautiful. Also helps eyeshadow stay on longer and look more vibrant if you use this as a base. Looks utterly amazing with Firecracker eyeshadow!

RRP: $35
Buy From: Not available anymore but you may be able to check makeup alley or livejournal to see if anyone's selling :)

MAC Eye Kohl in Float on By:
OMG THIS IS IT! The most perfect shade of teal EVER. I'm a BIG sucker for teals and must own any product if it resembles this shade. It has beautiful shimmers in it and glides on soooo smoothly. I just wish I had bought another one as I can't stop using it. Can't stop raving and will never share. I recommend you don't either haha.

RRP: $32
Buy From: Nowhere. This baby sold out in stores on the first day or thereof. Website sold out too (actually pretty sure I bagged the last one). This is the pot of gold that you'll never find. If you do manage to score one from here-on out, Congratulations, you've just found the golden ticket to the chocolate factory! You lucky bastard! :)

MAC Eyeshadow in Firecracker:
Beautiful shade of bright coral with gold reflects. It's crazy bright and looks like it could be hard to pull off but it's not. Team it with other sexy corals and you'll look stunning. The pigmentation in this is good and builds up fantastically. Look up the MAC facecharts and recreate a look.

RRP: $37
Buy From: MAC PRO stores, counters at Myer & David Jones may still have a couple left. You'll need to check. maccosmetics.com.au still has some available, so you'd be better off to go there.

MAC superglass in Cherry Electric:
MMMM Glitter! I love glitter so when I discovered this collection i had to have them all. Now this is currently the only one I have (I do plan on getting them ALL!) and it's beautiful. A lot of people have commented on the chunkiness of the glitter, but I don't mind it. The glittery-er the better I say, however, these aren't exactly work friendly, especially if you work at an office. I recommend teaming them with just as bright counterparts, EG, I would team CE with Rebelrose lipstick, or Show Orchid, or something just as crazy bright. Perfect for going out on the weekends with! In fact I dare you to wear it out! They are pretty damn expensive for what they are though but meh, I'm a weka so I don't care...

RRP: $45
Buy From: maccosmetics.com.au. They're a web exclusive!

Swisspers Spa Facial Makeup Removing Wipes in Pomegranate:
These are a great quick fix at night when you can't be bothered to wash your face properly (late nights out anyone?!). They are very moisturing compared to a lot of others that I've tried over the years. They apparently also have antioxidant properties in them too. Everyone (or almost everyone) knows that pomegranates are very good for the skin and body. The size: they're like SHEETS! They're massive! I can do my whole face with one (compared to using at least 3 of other brands). There's only 25 per pack but if you look at a pack of these and a pack of another brand, the pack is almost twice as thick! They come in 3 *flavours*, pomegranate, mango and white tea. They really do work hard to get rid of everything, I use Diorshow waterproof mascara and it takes it right off (mascara and thick black eyeliner be gone!). Anyone who wants a good priced makeup wipe, I HIGHLY recommend these!

RRP: $6
Buy From: Priceline, & supermarkets

Until next month...

Melz xxx :)
