~ To go down the rabbit hole is to take drugs...
~ Alice's Last name in the original movie started with D... Making her Name Alice D... Translation: LSD (yes this movie was all about drugs...)
~ Mad-hatters were common in the "old" days... They were called mad-hatters as the people who made them, did so in buildings with wooden floorboards that weren't sealed properly and mercury (from where ever) would fall into these cracks, and over time, these men would breathe the mercury that was in the air making them go crazy...
