A little bit about the cause:
For 75 years, Lancôme has known that a woman’s beauty goes beyond appearances, which is why a stylish campaign featuring the iconic Juicy Tube lipgloss and supporting the Breast Cancer Research Trust launches this winter.

Lancôme’s aptly named Juicy Designs for a Cure sees the who’s who of New Zealand fashion – the Trust’s Patron Trelise Cooper and Ambassador Karen Walker, plus Helen Cherry, Ruby, Stolen Girlfriends Club, and Zambesi – each design a collectable scarf to complement their favourite Juicy Tube lipgloss. The scarf design is repeated on limited edition Juicy Tube packaging.

Lancôme, consumers and retailers are all contributing with 20 per cent of the $50 retail price from each purchase helping fund Breast Cancer Research Trust’s research projects with the aim to raise $80,000.

“Lancôme is one of the globe’s most research-focused beauty companies so the partnership between Lancôme and Breast Cancer Research Trust makes perfect sense,” says Lancôme’s communications manager, Tanya Abbott. “We are proud to be part of New Zealand’s quest for a breast cancer cure.”

Breast Cancer Research Trust Chief Executive Tony Moffatt says “the support of corporate partners such as Lancôme is absolutely vital for our researchers to continue their life-changing work.

“We are New Zealand’s only not-for-profit organisation established solely to fund research into a cure for breast cancer and will ensure that all the hard earned funds are used in the most effective way possible to bring about a cure.”

Ambassador and one of the chosen designers, Karen Walker says supporting a cause is made all the more easy when it is coupled with a covetable lipgloss and designer scarf.

“Juicy Tubes are the favourite lipgloss of women all around the world - myself included. I’m thrilled that we’ve been able to team up with Lancôme to raise funds for the Breast Cancer Research Trust and I’m sure fans of Juicy Tubes throughout the country will grab this opportunity to make a difference both to our research and their lips!”

A Massive thanks to my mum for sharing this information and to BCRT fund for above information. Lancome and the above designers for contributing to such a worthy cause!
