A makeover...

This is a makeover I did on a Friend of mine.
Can't remember what I used... sorry guys...

Look What I Did To My Boyfriend... LOL

This is something I did a while back when me and my partner were tossing up ideas on what I could do next! Well it's a bruise and I think I did a pretty good job on it, especially as it was my first time!

I used:

MAC Burnt Burgundy pigment

MAC Basic Red pigment

P.U.R.E Juicy?

Lancome have taken Juicy Tubes to a new level with these new P.U.R.E glosses. Each one is a deliciously fruity flavour that has moisurising properties thanks to shea butter and organic oils. Keeping in tune with the organic oils, Lancome have made them even greener by making the packaging from recyclables which is a Lancome first!
These glosses have 95% of natural ingredients amd 100% natural flavours!

These glosses come in 4 very delicious (and unique) flavours!
~ Genuine Tomato
~ Vital-Mandarin
~ Mint Tea
~ Pure Sesame

RRP: $46
Available at David Jones and Myer from 31st of May

Baby Bloom

The media release for this has been a little late compared to most of MAC's collections, where we find out about them up to 6 months in advance. This has only been circling around for about a month (that I'm aware of anyway...). This collection is a small one focusing on summer with its SPF tints... there are 5 shades of each product, and being a tint, are quite sheer in nature. Perfect for summer time!

Studio Moisture Tint SPF 15:
Light ~ Soft pale beige
Medium ~ Warm beige
Medium Dark ~ Caramel Beige
Deep ~ Dark Caramel
Deep Dark ~ Rich, golden bronze

Suntints SPF 20 liquid lip balms:
Just a Smidge ~ Pastel yellow with multicoloured pearls
Lilt of Lily ~ A soft pale pink
Pink Tinge ~ A bright yellow pink with gold pearls
Full of Grace ~ Sheer rose
Moist Plum ~ Lilac with very fine pearls

My thoughts:
My guess is that the moisture tints are here to replace the Select Tint SPF 15 which is currently being phased out. MAC have also been putting out a lot of "studio" products lately too, so I'm thinking this is how they're going to continue to go with.
I haven't played around with the suntints but just by the name I'm thinking these will be a sort of "juicy tube" type gloss that Lancome have. I wonder what the texture will be like? I think they could perhaps be closer to Cliniques glossy tubes (superbalm), which are also SPF. Cliniques are a little thicker and stickier texture.

Lipglass remedy...

Okay so maybe I'm not the first to figure this out (or so happens, my mum did actually... I perosnally don't use lipglasses....) but if you guys are loving a lipglass and you've reached the end but theres still a application or 2 but can't-quite-reachhh then here may be a solution for you.

pop it into the microwave!

Do it for 5 seconds only and make sure you take the applicator out of the tube, lie them side by side, pop them onto a saucer and bam! you have more liquified gloss which is more easily attainable and you can get your last fix of your fave lipglass!

NOTE! We used a MAC lipglass so not sure about other lipgloss packaging. Do this at your own risk, I recommend not doing this for more than 5 seconds per "blast". Be aware some plastics can produce harmful toxins when melted/ heated, I am not sure what MAC's plastic classification number is. If you do, then the higher the number, the more harmful.
I take no responsibility if you microwave blows up, or your lipglass tube melts all over your microwave...
