Naked Honey and Style Warriors pictures

Okay so here are some very unique and beautiful pictures of the products from Naked Honey and Style Warriors! The colours are looking so good in these collections, particularly the eyeshadows from NH and the 2 lighter lipsticks from SW... I'm also particularly excited about the LUSTRE DROPS from Style Warriors. The lustre drops are said to be easier to apply than previous liquid products, such as the glimmershimmers and work well over all finishes of foundation.

REVIEW: MAC Just Dessert Triglass

Okay So I was a little apprehensive about getting one of these lipglosses as I'm not actually a fan of MAC's lipglasses but MAC are probably changing up their gloss formula's as I really like these and also their dazzleglass. These are not tacky at all (I really hate tacky glosses!) and rather thick. Not uber thick so it looks like you're drooling but perfect-thick. I had also heard that these are also very sheer. Well I did get a very sheer one as such (the others didn't particularly interest me) and there wasn't a lot of colour at all, just a lot of glitter (first thing my partner noticed LOL). These are very glittery, more so than the dazzleglass but it is a different kind of glitter (dazzleglass is less in-your-face than this and finer particles, and having an actual shade helps). These glosses last for ages and don't wear off easily at all, which I also find appealing. These are very expensive for what they are, but then I guess it's relative to the pricing for the Couture Collection glosses which have the same packaging which is a little bit of a let down seeing as it is just packaging (what am I saying, companies are all about packaging!...). I have used the gloss over a few days and am finding that they don't really mix up either. I know a lot of people were commenting on that and joking that OCD sufferers wouldn't be able to handle them but they would take a LOT of use to get them to mix up heavily. These glosses also have a lot in the tubing as well. Again, people have commented on dazzleglass not being good value for money because they got very few applications from them, whereas these will take a long time to use up. Overall these are very gorgeous and is good for value gloss-size wise, however these are aren't good value price wise, especially if you can't really afford it or justify it. For something that is essentially just glitter you're better off either making your own with reflects glitter and a clear gloss or buying something else. It would be nice to buy one as a special treat for yourself if you've got the cash and would be perfect for glittering up a lipstick, but there are better options out there for sure.

Okay so these are available EXCLUSIVELY at duty free shops when you travel internationally, so if you are planning on travelling, have a check out of these. If you're an avid or long time MAC collector/user you won't find these exciting as nearly all of these shades are repromotes. The only awesome factor really is a cool looking palette and the handiness of having them all together...

Upcoming Mac collections...

Okay so we were all excited about hearing about the spring/ summer collections from MAC but the time has flown and they're all pretty much here or gone so now we can get excited about Autumn collections yay!!! There's some pretty awesome stuff and lotsa mineralize stuff which I know loads of you are going to go gaga over so without further ado lets have a lookie lookie!

Euristocrats II ~ Not sure if we'll be getting this as it was a Europe exclusive the first time round and even though it has been extended to the US this time... it could be another country exclusive... guess only time will tell with this one. This collection is of repromotes basically with the addition of some (very lusty looking) dazzleglass!

Colour Craft ~ This is the mineralize collection. So many products with different flavours and combinations. Porcelain Pink is making a comeback for this and as many of you missed out on it, this would be the perfect time to grab one. There are an additional 5 MSFs (6 in total!) and while 3 will be of the traditional veining, the other 3 will be in the new style a la Blonde Brunette Redhead... Oh! The glosses will be in the form of the triglass from Sugarsweet, or if you cast your mind wayyyy back to those of the Couture Collection back in 06 (I believe). The 226 brush is making a comeback from BBR (I know many of you missed out, I know I did!) so this is obviously going to sell out quickly...

Graphic Garden ~ This years gift set collection. This will include palettes, brush sets, lip sets and something new called a "look box". The packaging is going to be black and white with a floral pattern (I'm sure you could have guessed that, given the collections name!)

Rumours: Now from what has been floating around there is not going to be an all black collection. A collection was mentioned as to having a LOT of black but not an all out black exclusive... I'm disappointed with this personally, I would have loved to see a return of black glitter...

So this Autumn there is going to be something for everyone. I just can't believe how quickly this year is going and how fast these collections are coming around.

REVIEW: NARS Angelika blush

I have seen this blush for a long time and have wanted it ever since I first lay my eyes onto it but I had never used NARS before this. Well, I went ahead and bought it and OMGosh! This is love! The compact is smaller than I thought, but that was alright, I keep finding items are much smaller than I've been imagining, but as they say, good things come in small packages...

Anyhoo, this shade is a bright pink described as "cotton candy" (I think of CC as more baby pinker...). The colour could easily intimidate if you're not used to bright colours but it's definitely not as scary as it looks. This is a smooth application and the colour is easy to apply and blend and you can build up the intensity to however you like, however you do have to start with a lighter hand otherwise you could overdo it as this is highly pigmented (I'm also a NW20). It looks very glittery in the case but doesn't apply this way, which was a pleasant surprise. It lasted all day long and made me feel beautiful without feeling overdone. If you're after a brighter pink I highly recommend this and after this I'm loving NARS and can't wait for my next purchase...

Once again Fergie is the spokesperson for the new VIVA GLAM collection VI. This time around MAC has gone and done a purple theme (lots of feathers included!) instead of it's usual red...
